Nutrition

Hamster:
They eat a variety of foods: ready-made food for hamsters, apples, dandelions, chicory, bananas, hazelnuts. It is very important to always have fresh water. The daily amount of balanced food needed for a Syrian hamster is about 20 g (one large spoon), and for a Chinese hamster about 5 g (one small spoon). For regular tooth wear, put pieces of wood for snacking (ash, linden, apple, hazelnut) in the cage, or various ready-made "snacks" that you can buy in a pet store. The stone for rodents serves to wear teeth and as a source of minerals. Leftover human food or sugar is harmful to hamster health.

Porpoise:
Guinea pigs are herbivores. Dry hay is the basis of their diet, so it must always be available. Along with hay, you should always have a mixture of seeds for guinea pigs and fresh fruits and vegetables in the bowl every day. As they are large eaters, care should be taken with the amount of food you give them so as not to become overweight. The amount of ready-made guinea pig food would be 1 tablespoon per day. For feeding the guinea pig we can offer: spinach, celery, tomato, carrot, paprika, cucumber, apple, melon, peach, grape, strawberry, pear, grass (from unpolluted areas, not along the roads), dandelion leaf.

Rats:
The diet of rats is based on ready-made food, a mixture for rats or on foods such as wheat, barley, rice, bread, sunflower seeds, apples, chard, spinach, carrots and other fruits and vegetables. Fatty seeds (walnuts, almonds) are given primarily as desserts. They can also be given meat, cheese or yogurt in smaller quantities. Human sweets, citrus fruits, cabbage and other plants from the cabbage family are prohibited in the diet of rats. Fresh water must always be available.

Mouse:
Mice are small rodents that need to eat constantly. They eat about 10% of their total weight a day. Mouse food includes various seeds, corn, wheat, barley, sunflower seeds, etc. They like oats the most, of course in a mixture with others, because it is the most nutritious and easiest to digest. One should be careful with sunflower because the mouse can gain too much weight. They also like pumpkin seeds, and especially fresh melon seeds.
